Order a bin or white sack

You may want to order a bin or a white sack if:

  • yours are damaged or have gone missing
  • you’re making full use of your existing recycling bins, and you still need more capacity
  • you've moved into a new home and you don’t have any bins*

*If you've moved into a new build or a rented property you should have a full set of bins; if not, speak to your builder or landlord before placing an order with us. If you've moved into a Berneslai Homes property it's your responsibility to arrange and pay for the delivery of any damaged or missing bins.

What you can order

  • Blue bin/brown bin/white sack- if yours is damaged, you haven't got one, or you want an extra one
  • Grey/green bin - if yours is damaged or you haven't got one

You can't order extra grey or green bins.

You're only allowed one green bin per household. To get an extra grey bin, there must be five or more people living permanently in your home - check our page about getting an extra grey bin.

How to order

You can use our online form below to order bins or white sacks. Before you place your order, please read the information on the tabs below.

Our libraries and recycling centres (tips) also keep a stock of white sacks where you can collect up to 2 free of charge, instead of using our online form.

Charges

There's a £20 charge for delivering your bin(s).This includes the removal of any bins you no longer need.

There are no exemptions to this charge.

You'll be asked to pay the charge as part of the form, so please have your debit/credit card ready. Check our pay page to see which cards you can use.

If you use our form to order just a white sack, we'll post it out to you and there's no delivery charge.

Or, you can collect up to 2 white sacks from your local library or tip instead of using this form.

Delivering your bin

We'll deliver your bin within 10 working days of receiving your order.  Smithies Lane Depot is closed to the public so you can no longer pick up bins yourself.

When we drop the bin(s) off, we'll take away any bins that you no longer need, even if they're full.

Until you get your new bin, you can leave up to three securely tied sacks of rubbish for us to collect on your usual collection day.

Sometimes, we experience delays in restocking white sacks from the manufacturers. If we don't have any in stock when you place your order, we'll post one out to you as soon as they come in.

Until you get your new sack, please place any paper you need collecting in a carrier or plastic bag and we'll collect it as usual.

Before you start the form

Don't use this form to order an extra grey bin. Check the information on our getting an extra grey bin page.
