We have a range of beautiful venues in Barnsley for your ceremony, from the historic to the modern. Some venues also give you the option to have a twilight or outside ceremony. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to find the perfect location for your special day.
Venues need to be licensed to be able to hold civil marriages or civil partnerships. These are called 'approved venues' or 'approved premises'. When you’re booking your venue you need to make sure that it's licensed.
You need to book your ceremony directly with the venue you choose. You'll also need to book a registrar for your ceremony.
