Hear from our students
You can read about the experience of some of our apprentices below:
Karina - business administration apprentice
Karina joined us in 2017 as a business administration apprentice. Whilst working here she's taken part in the the national #TakeoverChallenge day, and had the opportunity to do some work experience with our Communication and Marketing team, including managing our social media accounts for the day.
Karina said, "I've had a very busy morning and helped the Communications team make a special video for the Tour de Yorkshire. I've enjoyed it so far - look out for my tweets and photos on our social media accounts! It's been fun to take on a different role to my usual day job."
Matthew - libraries apprentice
Matthew joined us in 2016 as an apprentice in the Barnsley Libraries service. Whilst being here he's been working towards his Level 2 apprenticeship in Libraries, Archives and Information services.
With the support of his colleagues in the library and his hard work, it's great he's now achieved this!
