Join us for Reading Pictures: Seeing Stories

A celebration of words and pictures brought to you by ASCEL (The Association of Senior Children's Education Librarians).

Reading Pictures: Seeing Stories will give children and young people the opportunity to meet and learn from illustrators and artists to explore the connection between words and art and offer children and families the chance to discover the power of pictures.

You can read more about this celebration at the Reading Pictures: Seeing Stories website where you can take a look at events and workshops and find out about illustrators and artists.

To help to celebrate we have free sessions running at libraries across Barnsley.  So why not come and join us, you'll need to book a place by messaging us on Facebook or booking at the library counter.  Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult.
