Barnsley's Young Mayor
Role of the Young Mayor
Morgan Stear was officially welcomed into her new role as a Civic Young Mayor back in October last year at the Annual Council meeting and has since been busy working on various campaigns with the Barnsley Youth Council.
The role of our young mayor is to represent the youth council and promote their work.
The young mayor is working with schools and other organisations to make services more available to young people.
