It is your right to expect us to treat any information that you tell us in the strictest confidence.

We will only share your personal details with other people who are involved in your care.  If you do not want us to do this please tell us.

There may be occasions where we are required by law to share certain information with other parties. 

If we are concerned about a risk to your wellbeing or safety, or that of another person, we may need to share information about you, even if you have not consented for us to do so.

The National Information Governance Office for Health and Social Care is a government department that produces guidance for practitioners and service users about information sharing and security. 

You can download and read documents on their website that explain how we use and store your information and what controls you have over this.  It  also tells you about your rights to ask for a copy of any information we hold about you.
