02/09/2020 - Employees remote working

Cllr Alan Gardiner, Cabinet Spokesperson for Core Services, said: “The majority of employees already had access to remote working before the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and have continued to be able to work remotely during this time. Staff are currently working from home or a suitable location. Where this is not possible, a small number have returned to work in our main office location, while following all Public Health England social distancing guidelines including; adhering to a one-way system in the office, and making frequent use of hand sanitising stations. The council continues to evaluate all working options to ensure we protect and support our employees.”
