Cabinet has approved the further exploration of the future of Priory Campus in Lundwood to support the implementation of our Health and Care Plan ambitions.
Our health and social care services continue to collaborate to ensure that everyone can receive the right care at the right time. Priory Campus can offer a great opportunity to build on this creating a more joined-up approach to wellbeing.
Cabinet has therefore agreed the proposal that the Barnsley Healthcare Federation take on the ownership of Priory Campus, subject to final negotiations and agreements.
It’s a move all partners are agreed on, and we’ll share more information as we move forward as a partnership.
The library and other tenants using the building will remain, and Barnsley CVS will move to their site at Queens Road.
