Have your say on crime and anti-social behaviour to help keep our borough safe

We would like to invite you to share your views on crime and anti-social behaviour across the borough by taking part in our annual Community Safety Survey, created by the Safer Barnsley Partnership.

The Safer Barnsley Partnership is Barnsley’s community partnership made up of a wide range of organisations that work together to keep our communities safe and respond to the local and national challenges you face. They focus on making Barnsley a safe place for everyone.

The Community Safety Survey is carried out every year to capture local people’s views on all types of crime and anti-social behaviour within their communities and wider borough. This helps us find out what challenges you face so we can respond to them and set priorities to focus on each year.

The survey provides an opportunity to offer your views and feedback on a wide range of issues and concerns, ranging from how safe you feel in your community and what type of crime has the most impact on you and your area, to your views on the town centre and what concerns you the most. Findings from the survey will then be used to plan and shape the next set of priorities that the partnership will focus on for 2026-27.

You can complete the Community Safety Survey

The survey will only take around ten minutes to complete and will be open for you to have your say until September 2025.

You can also visit your local library branch to complete the survey online or request a paper copy if you prefer.
