Have your say on the Air Quality Action Plan

We currently work to monitor and manage air quality in Barnsley, as part of this work we create a new action plan every 5 years to outline projects and work that will be covered to improve the air quality in our borough for the coming years and review our previous work.  You can view our draft action plan and supporting document:

We'd like to invite you to share your views on how you feel about the air quality in the Barnsley borough and we're also looking for your feedback on our draft Air Quality Action Plan. 

We've created a survey to provide you with an opportunity to offer your views and feedback.  We'd love to hear from you and you can complete the survey to let us know your feedback up until Sunday 1 February 2026.
