Temporary traffic restrictions

An order has been made to introduce restrictions on the below roads on a phased basis, from 1 September 2025 for approximately four months.

Byron Drive: closed for the full length. Diversion route for the section between Burton Road and Wordsworth Road is Rotherham Road/Wordsworth Road and access maintained for residents.
Coleridge Avenue: closed for the full length. Access maintained for residents.
Sheridan Court: closed for the full length. Access maintained for residents.
Wordsworth Road: closed from Byron Drive to Rotherham Road. Access maintained for residents.
Warwick Road: one way closure allowing traffic to travel from Rotherham Road to Tennyson Road only. Diversion route; Tennyson Road/Burton Bank Road/Rotherham Road
Clarence Road: closed for approximately 30 metres from the junction with Warwick Road. Diversion route; Rochester Road/Burton Bank Road/Rotherham Road.
Tennyson Road: one way closure allowing traffic to travel from Burton Road to Warwick Road only. Diversion route; Rotherham Road/Burton Road
