An order has been made to close the below roads, from 22 September 2025 for approximately 6 weeks. The restrictions will only be in place for up to 3 days within this period.

  • Greenside, Shafton – temporary road closure from Sandybridge Lane to end.
  • Ebenezer Street, Great Houghton - temporary road closure from Thurnscoe Lane to John Street. An alternative route is available via Byron Street, John Street.
  • Manor Crescent, Grimethorpe – temporary road closure from side of no.130 to Windhill Avenue. An alternative route is available via Brierly Road, Manor Crescent.
