Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Ross Jones Retail to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for a new premises licence in respect of Kong, 7 Peel Parade, Barnsley, S70 2RN on the following terms:

  • Live music indoors: Monday to Sunday from 11am until 11pm

  • Recorded music indoors: Monday to Sunday from 11am until 5am (the following morning)

  • Supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises:  Monday to Sunday 11am until 5am (the following morning)

  • Hours premises are open to the public: Monday to Sunday from 5am until 5:30am (the following morning)

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to: Licensing, Regulatory Services, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or to licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight 8 June 2026.

  1. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
