Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Lee Kilroy to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for A NEW PREMISES LICENCE in respect of:

Old Mounts, 145 Midland Road, Royston, Barnsley, S71 4SR

on the following terms:

  • Supply of alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises: Mondays from 5pm until 9pm, Thursdays from 5pm until 10pm, Fridays from 2pm until 10pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm until 10pm.
  • Non-standard timings: on the following days if they are public holidays: from 1pm until 10pm on Mondays; from 1pm until 10pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; from 1pm until 10pm on Thursdays.
  • Opening times: Mondays from 5pm until 9pm, Thursdays from 5pm until 10pm, Fridays from 2pm until 10:30pm; Saturdays from 1pm until 10:30pm, and Sundays from 1pm until 10pm.

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight of 27 November 2025.

  1. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
