Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Barnsley RUFC and Supporters Group Ltd to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council to vary a premises licence in respect of Shaw Lane Sports Club, Shaw Lane, Barnsley, S70 6HZ on the following terms:

To extend the licensed area to cover the car park and add additional outdoor permissions:

• Supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises:
  • Monday to Saturday from 8am until 2am the following morning
  • Sunday from 8am until 1am the following morning
• Late night refreshment outdoors – 7 days a week – 11pm to 1am
• Opening hours of the premises – Sunday to Thursday from 7:30am to 12:30am and Friday to Saturday from 7:30am to 2am

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight of 6 April 2026.

Notes:

1. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
