Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Simon Taylor to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for a new premises licence in respect of Taylor's Pit Bottom, 34 High Street, Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72 7LP on the following terms:

  • The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises 7 days a week 12pm to 10pm. 

  • Hours to open to the public 7 days a week 12pm to 10:30pm. 

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to: Licensing, Regulatory Services, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or to licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight 12 June 2026.

  1. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
