Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council by South Yorkshire Police for a review of a premises licence under section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of:

Thurnscoe Tap, 2-4 Station Road, Thurnscoe, S63 0JR

The grounds for review relate to the following licensing objectives:-

  • The protection of children from harm.
  • The prevention of crime and disorder.

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to licensing@barnsley.gov.uk or to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG by midnight of 25 February 2026.

  1. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
