Children in our care can't, for whatever reason, live with their birth parents. They rely on people like you to become their new family, giving them love and support as they grow up.
Adoption is life changing for adults and children. Adopting a child is a big responsibility but is really rewarding. The best thing of all is seeing the difference you make to a child's life. If you could give a child a nurturing, stable and safe home, adoption could be for you.
About us
We deliver our adoption services as part of One Adoption South Yorkshire. The service also includes the City of Doncaster Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, and Sheffield City Council. This joined-up approach enables us to:
- place children in a more timely way
- reach a wider audience of potential adopters
- support you better on your journey
- develop our services in a better way and share good practice easily across the region
Our staff work in our local area with children’s social work staff, making sure that children and families are cared for and supported.
