The Barnsley Safeguarding Adults Board annual report helps you learn about what we’ve achieved in the past year to keep our communities safe. It includes our commitments, achievements and impact during the year, and our work and strategic ambitions for the following year.

We've also produced an infographic summarising the safeguarding activity and adults’ experience of safeguarding during 2024-25. This demonstrates a strong commitment to Making
Safeguarding Personal (MSP).
The Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) summary 2024-25 evidences our continuous drive to learn from practice and embed changes into IT and other systems to maximise impact. An assurance event is held each year to test the reach of the learning across the Safeguarding Adults Board partners.
Finally, the Independent Chair statement provides a written overview of the activity of the Board
during 2024-25.
