About Healthy Holidays clubs

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme aims to make free holiday club places available over the future holidays to all children aged five to 16 who receive benefit-related free school meals.

After a successful 2021 we're now planning for our 2022 provision.

We aim to ensure that we have clubs which can offer a broad range of physical and enriching activities to suit any child aged between four and 16, and of any ability.  Clubs must also include at least one delicious, nutritious meal per session. Food must meet School Food Standards.

We want to ensure we provide a quality service and reach as many families who are eligible for means-tested free school meals as we can, including those we may not have reached before.

If you're interested in becoming a Healthy Holiday club provider and would like to apply for grant funding, you need to register on the YORtender e-procurement portal. Access is free of charge and a helpdesk is available within the portal to provide support if required.

You can read the YORtender registration guidance and YORtender supplier step-by-step guide to registering your organisation, which contains instructions and a useful video to guide you through the system.

If you have any issues registering please contact or call 0800 840 2050 during office hours.

Once you've registered your organisation please inform us by emailing
