Notice of application to vary a premises licence

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by Thurnscoe Tap Limited to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council to vary a premises licence in respect of Thurnscoe Tap, 2-4 Station Road, Thurnscoe, Rotherham, S63 0JR on the following terms:

  • Performance of plays indoors and outdoors
    Sunday to Thursday 5am to 12am, Friday and Saturday 5am to 2am (the following morning).
  • Indoor sporting events
    Sunday to Thursday 5am to 12am, Friday and Saturday 5am to 2am (the following morning).

  • Live Music both indoors and outdoors
    Sunday to Thursday 5am to 11:30pm, Friday and Saturday 5am to 1:30am (the following morning).

  • Recorded Music both indoors and outdoors
    Sunday to Thursday 5am to 12am, Friday and Saturday 5am to 2am (the following morning).
  • The provision of Late Night refreshment both indoor and outdoors
    Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 12am, Friday and Saturday 11pm to 2am (the following morning).

  • Supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises
    Sunday to Thursday 5am to 12am, Friday and Saturday 5am to 2am (the following morning).

  • Opening hours of the premises
    Sunday to Thursday 5am to 12am, Friday and Saturday 5am to 2am (the following morning).

  • Non-standard timings for all of the changes above. 
    To extend operating hours by two hours on the following days: all Bank Holidays, the entire Easter Weekend, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, as well as the last Saturday
    before Christmas, the day after Boxing Day, and weekends attached to all Bank Holidays.
    All patron Saints’ days of the UK and Ireland, Halloween, and Bonfire Night as well as all weekends immediately preceding and following these days.
