We don't have a 'lost and found' service for any property left in taxis or private hire vehicles.
If you left some of your property in a private hire vehicle you should contact the operator who you booked the vehicle with.
If you left your property in a taxi or hackney carriage, you could visit the taxi trade’s lost and found Facebook page or report the item on the Report My Loss website. Please note that neither of these websites are run or monitored by us.
If you know the name of the driver, the vehicle's taxi plate or registration number, you can email these to us and we'll make enquiries on your behalf. Please email the details to: licensing@barnsley.gov.uk
