About the event

Whether you’re ready to find an apprenticeship, looking for advice on how to apply or simply want to find out whether an apprenticeship is right for you, we’ve got you covered.

You'll meet employers and training providers from a range of sectors such as engineering, construction, health, food manufacturing and more. You'll learn about the apprenticeships they have on offer and what a career in their industry could look like for you.  

You can also find out about the following:

  • The different entry requirements and application processes.
  • How to use the National Apprenticeship Service to find vacancies.
  • How to write CVs and applications.
  • How to stand out at interviews.
  • Experiences current apprentices have had and their tips for success.

How to attend

You can drop in at the event anytime between 4pm and 7pm. We recommend signing up to our mailing list so you can receive reminders and updates before the event.

Who can attend

The event is open to anyone who is aged 14 to 24 and interested in apprenticeships. It's specially designed for those who are:

  • year 10 and year 11 pupils
  • post 16 young adults, including people with SEND, care leavers and college students
  • home educated young people

We also welcome parents and supporters to attend the event.

When to arrive if you prefer to come at a quieter time

We have a dedicated quiet period from 3:30pm to 4pm for anyone who would benefit from attending while it’s quiet and less busy.
