Barnsley Register Office to open late on Wednesday 14 January 2026

Due to staff training, the register office in Barnsley Town Hall will not open until 10am on Wednesday 14 January 2026.

You'll still be able to use our online services to:

• order a copy certificate
• book an appointment to register a birth
• book a registrar for a wedding or civil partnership ceremony
• book an appointment to give notice of a marriage or civil partnership

We apologise for any inconvenience the late opening may cause.
