Register office opening later on Thursday 9 April

Due to staff training, the register office in Barnsley Town Hall will open later than usual at 10:30am on Thursday 9 April 2026.

You'll still be able to use our online services to:

order a copy certificate
book an appointment to register a birth
book a registrar for a wedding or civil partnership ceremony
book an appointment to give notice of a marriage or civil partnership
