Charities are invited to apply for a stall at our first charity market at Hoyland.

The event at Hoyland Market on Tuesday, 28 May, will give charities supporting animal welfare a free platform to reach a wide audience.

A second charity market planned for September will be open to all charities.

Applications are now welcome for the May event, where our regular Tuesday stalls will also be trading.

We are also encouraging applications from traders selling pet or other animal-focused products to join the nature-themed event, with the usual trading fees applicable.

The charity markets will add to the busy calendar of events at our borough markets, which aim to make them more appealing to a wide range of shoppers and visitors.

We will continue to support our markets as part of our ongoing commitment to ensure our high streets and town centres are thriving and everyone can enjoy a pleasant shopping experience.

Charities wishing to apply for a stall at the event on 28 May are invited to email PrincipalTownsmarkets@barnsley.gov.uk for an application form.
