It’s the National Day for Play on Wednesday, 2 August, and our friendly Sport and Active Recreation team will be at Darfield Summer Gala, with ideas on low-cost or no-cost play adventures your children can enjoy, including our Get Out, Get Active challenge.

Play opportunities don’t need to involve expensive activities, costly toys, or trips to far-off destinations.

It’s often the simplest ideas, the free and found opportunities, which offer the most fun and help kids’ development.

The gala takes place at Darfield Park, Church Street, S73 9LG from 11am to 4pm and our team will be there all day.
