Revocation of 40 mph speed limit order 2026Details
The above-named order will come into effect on 3 August 2026 and will revoke the 40mph order from 220 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Longley Street to its junction with Claycliffe roundabout.

If you wish to question the validity of the order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the order you may within six weeks from 31 July 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
