An order will be made to close the below roads overnight, between 7pm and 5am on a phase basis as works progress, from 18 September 2023 for approximately three weeks.
- Rotherham Road, Smithies – temporary road closure from Ravenfield Drive to Hazelwood. An alternative route is available via Rotherham Road, Wakefield Road, Harborough Hill Road, Pontefract Road, Rotherham Road.
- Carlton Road, Smithies/Athersley South – temporary road closure from Newhill Road to Belmont Avenue. An alternative route is available via Wakefield Road, Laithes Lane.
