We have three foodbanks in Barnsley offering emergency food to people in crisis.
To benefit from the foodbanks you'll need to be referred to the service by a professional working with you who has identified that you need support from this service.
If you're eligible for support and you need more information, visit the Barnsley Foodbank Partnership website.
Barnsley Foodbank Partnership
Our foodbanks are provided through a partnership made up of the council, the Church Action on Poverty (Barnsley), Fareshare and Trussell Trust.
Supporting the foodbanks
All foodbanks welcome volunteers and donations. Find out how to get involved on their websites.
Additional support for people in crisis
- Barnsley Churches Drop-In Project provides hot and cold food and drinks for people who are homeless and others who are in need. No referral is required for this support
