Spark your imagination this summer and try something new with a range of science, technology and media activity sessions during the school holidays.
The activities are part of the Great Childhoods Ambition School Holiday Enrichment Programme, and are delivered by a range of local partners.
You need to book to take part in some of the activities - details of how to do this are listed with each activity. Many are fully inclusive, but you should contact the provider directly if you or your child have any specific needs or requirements to be able to take part.

Digital media production sessions with Visualised It

Ready to level up your creative skills and make cool stuff this summer? These ultra-fun digital media sessions let 13 to 16 year olds dive into epic photography, filmmaking, and design projects.

Kids Invent Stuff future inventors project
Provider: Kids Invent Stuff
Become a Kids Invent Stuff inventor! Each session features a short, high-energy invention presentation followed by a hands-on making activity, allowing children to learn, create and participate in a guided challenge. Workshops begin with a 20-minute mini 'invention show' presentation that introduces the steps of becoming an inventor, includes live invention demonstrations by Kids Invent Stuff, and sets a creative challenge for the group. This is followed by a practical making activity, where the children get stuck into creating!

Summer wellbeing and digital creativity programme
Provider: Adaptive Gaming CIC
A free five-session summer wellbeing and digital creativity programme for children aged 8 and over, using gaming as a vehicle to build confidence, friendships, creativity and digital skills. Through team gaming challenges, content creation and design activities, participants will develop new skills before celebrating their achievements at a special family gaming day with parents, carers and siblings.
