Welcome to the annual report of the Barnsley Safeguarding Adults Board. This is your chance to learn more about what we’ve achieved in the past year to keep our communities safe.

You can read our Annual Report 2024-25 to see our commitments, achievements, and impact during the year, and our work and strategic ambitions for 2025-26.

We have an infographic summarising the safeguarding activity and adults’ experience of 
safeguarding during 2024-25, demonstrating a strong commitment to Making 
Safeguarding Personal (MSP).

The Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) summary 2024-25 evidences our continuous drive to learn from practice and embed changes into IT and other systems to maximise impact. An assurance event is held each year to test the reach of the learning across the BSAB partners.

Finally, the Independent Chair statement provides a written overview of the activity of the Board 
during 2024-25.
