Cooper Gallery

Experience Barnsley

Experience Barnsley Museum and Discovery Centre is dedicated to the history and people of Barnsley. Visitors will uncover the incredible story of Barnsley told through centuries-old artefacts, documents, films and recordings that have been donated by people living and working in the borough.

Archives and Discovery Centre

Barnsley Archives and Local Studies collects, preserves and makes available the documentary heritage of the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley. Contained in secure and environmentally-controlled stores are thousands of boxes of archives donated by individuals, families and organisations, charting the history of the borough from the 12th to 21st centuries.

Cannon Hall

Cannon Hall is a stunning Georgian country house museum set in 70 acres of historic parkland and beautiful landscaped gardens. It is the perfect day out for all the family.

Cooper Gallery

The Cooper Gallery is a vibrant creative art-space in the heart of Barnsley town centre, it has a regular programme of contemporary touring exhibitions and exciting events. The Gallery is also home to the Craft Showcase which features crafts and artwork for sale by regional and local artists.
