The government believes that all councils should publish the data that they hold to make it easier for local people to contribute to the local decision making process and help shape public services.
Because of this, they've published the Local Government Transparency Code to make sure that local people can now see and access data about:
- how we spend our money
- how we use council assets
- how we make decisions
- issues important to local people
This is the information we provide under the Local Government Transparency Code 2015.
