The Barnsley Junior Fun run is following the 10k for the first time this year, giving our boroughs young people the chance to enjoy the electric 10k atmosphere. The event is delivered by the Sport and Physical Activity team as part of the #WhatsYourMove campaign.
The run is for children aged 8 to 14 and is a 2-lap route around the town centre, all fenced in.
Participants will take on 4 exciting zones: Hype Highway, Water Blast Alley, Bubble Boulevard and Victory Lane. Children will get wet.
All starters will receive a medal to mark their participation.
