Old Town ward by-election

Following the resignation of a former council member, a council by election was held in Old Town ward.

The electorate was 8277, there were three rejected votes and the voter turnout was 15% (1242 votes cast).

Jo Newing, of the Labour Party, has been duly elected to serve on the Old Town ward.
