Cllr Trevor Cave, Cabinet Spokesperson for Children’s Services, said: “We’re excited to be one of the trailblazer councils taking part in this Pathfinder programme which will encourage the development and extension of school based wraparound childcare from 8am to 6pm. 

“We’ll be helping the DfE develop their understanding of the challenges of sustainable supply and demand in the wraparound childcare sector, including flexible and innovative ways to gather evidence of what works.”
