Last chance to enter the Barnsley 10k

We've been overwhelmed by the incredible response to the Barnsley 10k as all 1,000 entries sold out within 48 hours! A huge thank you to everyone who has signed up to participate so far.

Due to the level of demand, we've assessed the safety implications of adding more entries and are delighted to say a further 250 places will go on sale at 7pm on Monday 4 March. No further places will be released when these sell out, so this will be the last chance to sign up.

The race will take place on Sunday 30 June, beginning in The Glass Works square at 9am and taking participants through Barnsley town centre, Wilthorpe and Redbrook before looping back around at the Claycliffe road area and arriving back in The Glass Works square for a sprint finish.

Go to racebest.com/races/vkstf next Monday evening to secure your place.

From upgraded heating and lighting to improved access and an enhanced children’s library, the £450,000 programme will ensure this much-loved venue is welcoming, busy and buzzing for years to come.
