Have your say on our draft Hot Food Takeaway SPD and PAN consultation
Have your say on our Hot Food Takeaway Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and Planning Advice Note (PAN) consultation until Monday 15 September 2025.
The Local Plan (adopted on Thursday 3 January 2019) contains policies to be considered when determining planning applications. Supplementary planning documents (SPDs) contain further advice and explain how these policies will be applied.
In addition, Planning Advice Notes (PAN) are used where there is no specific corresponding policy in the Local Plan. In this case the PAN gives guidance on how national planning policy is to be implemented locally.
A number of SPDs were adopted following the adoption of the Local Plan, including the Hot Food Takeaway SPD, and the supporting Planning Advice Note.
We are seeking your views on the draft changes to these documents during the consultation period, running from Monday 18 August to Monday 15 September 2025. Comments received will be considered when drafting the final versions.
