If you’ve been held back by health, disabilities or caring responsibilities, we need your help!

Barnsley Council’s pathways to work project is exploring ways to help people who would like to access jobs in the borough.

We’d like to speak to people who live in Barnsley and are aged between 16 to 64 years old. If now, or in the past, you’ve been out of work due to health, disability or caring responsibilities, you could take part.

We’re working with Kada Research, a Sheffield-based company to understand the barriers that people face. They are helping us to talk to people who find it difficult to benefit from learning and work.

We would like to hear about your experiences, so that we can design future support to help people who want to be in paid work.

There will be a £30 voucher for people who take part in the research.

This will include a confidential conversation about your experiences accessing work and the challenges that make it difficult.

The conversation will take place with a researcher from the Kada Research team. They will meet you at a local place, like a nearby library. It will take one to two hours in December 2023.
