New Area and Ward Profiles tool launched to help you learn more about our borough

An interactive Area and Ward Profiles tool has been launched to make learning about the demographics of our borough easier, supporting community groups and local service providers.

Developed by our Business Intelligence team, this user-friendly, engaging dashboard offers a clear window into the makeup and needs of our communities, all broken down at a ward level.

Bringing together data on key topics like population, housing and health, this useful resource is powered by insights from public data sources you can already access, like the Census.

Our new Area and Ward Profiles tool allows you to easily explore key population trends and information, bringing insights to life with vibrant infographics.

With a few clicks, you’re also able to compare different parts of the borough, highlighting key similarities and differences in their demographics and potential needs.

This dashboard builds on the written ward profile summaries you can already find on our website, helping you learn more about the places you call home.

In addition to learning something new about our borough, this tool will offer meaningful insights to inspire community groups and local service providers. This dashboard can help them to:

• Identify trends and better understand our places, informing effective decision-making.
• Tailor support to the needs of the wards and communities they serve.
• Develop insight-led funding applications, making sure the right schemes are offered in the areas where they will have the greatest impact.
