English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) courses

Our ESOL courses are for anyone looking to improve their confidence in using their English Language skills in everyday situations. They cover the essential speaking, listening, reading and writing skills we all need to be successful in our communities or at work.

Together we'll work out what your journey will look like to make sure you get what you need for the future.

We'll work with you to understand:

  • how learning to communicate in English will help you achieve your goals
  • the skills and qualifications (if any) you already have, and what level is right for you
  • the worries or concerns you might have about learning or being in a classroom
  • what helps you learn best
  • how you'll fit learning into your life

Welcome to ESOL

This course introduces you to ESOL, the topics you will learn, and gives you the chance to meet other ESOL learners and your tutors.

You'll then move on to one of our other courses. Our team will talk to you about your language skills and help you choose the right course for your language level and long-term goal.
