Introduction to working in health and care course 

This course is right for you if:

  • you're caring and considerate and interested to find about the opportunities that are out there in the care sector
  • you've never worked in the care sector before and want to take time to understand what it might involved 
  • have worries or concerns about being in a classroom, are worried about how it will feel, or are anxious about anything at all.
  • you’re not quite ready to apply for a job in the care sector but considering it in the future
  • you want to understand how the skills and knowledge you already have could be applied in the care sector

Proud to care course

This course is right for you if:

  • you're a caring and considerate person and want to make a difference to others by working in care
  • you're keen to move into a job in care quickly and are keen to get up to date knowledge and skills to do this
  • you can commit to daily attendance over a short period of time
  • you want to explore the different roles available in care and what each involves
  • you already have a good level of qualification or skills in English and have confidence in your own abilities
  • you can then move on to ‘Get hired in care’ course if you wish to get additional support with applying for care jobs

Get hired in care course

This course is right for you if:

  • you have previous experience (at home or in work), or a clear understanding of what working in care entails and want to move into a job in care quickly
  • you need to create a unique, care related CV
  • you want to ensure you can complete an application form to a high standard
  • you want to increase your confidence and skills around having a care related interview
  • you already have a good level of qualification or skills in English and have confidence in your own abilities
