Council tax messaging service

If your council tax account falls into arrears we may contact you using our voice, text or email message reminder service, before we take further recovery action if you don't pay your council tax. This service can prevent statutory recovery notices being issued and may help you avoid paying further costs.

Whilst we offer this service to prevent you from falling further into arrears, you shouldn't rely upon it as it's your responsibility to maintain the instalments due on your account in line with your council tax bill. Failure to do so may result in recovery action being taken.
