Find a household waste recycling centre

We have four household waste recycling centres (tips) in the Barnsley area. You can find the location of these and opening hours below.

You need to have a recycling centre pass or make a booking to use the centres. Your pass also allows you to use the recycling centres in Doncaster.

Certain types of waste are restricted at the sites. Find out what waste you can take to the recycling centre.

Locations and opening hours

We have some planned improvement works and temporary closures at some of our household waste recycling centres. Please check that the site you intend to visit is open and accepting the waste you want to dispose of before you travel.

The recycling centres are open every day apart from Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December) and New Year’s Day (1 January).
