Services
Join in this summer and try something new with a range of activity clubs during the school holidays.
The activities are part of the Great Childhoods Ambition School Holiday Enrichment Programme, and are delivered by a range of local partners.
You need to book to take part in some of the activities - details of how to do this are listed with each activity. Many are fully inclusive, but you should contact the provider directly if you or your child have any specific needs or requirements to be able to take part.
Animal club

Come and join with animal club and experience how animals can help with emotional regulation and support.

Weekly space to access support from staff, meet new people, and take part in craft activities and games.

Mondays 12pm to 2pm for 11 to 16 year olds
Tuesdays 12pm to 2pm for 17 to 25 year olds

H.O.P.E youth session
Provider: H.O.P.E
Join our youth session for an exciting mix of arts and crafts, enriching activities, outdoor games, board games, and sensory experiences designed to inspire, engage, and support young people. These sessions provide a welcoming space where young people can develop new skills, build confidence, make friends, and have fun.

SEND youth club sessions

Creative arts, interactive games, and hands-on cooking experiences for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Themed youth club sessions
Provider: Ad Astra
Join the fun packed Ad Astra youth club sessions, with refreshments provided. The themes of the sessions will change each week, and will include:
science and media - check out science experiments and podcast recordings
growing and planting, with the opportunity to be creative in the garden
music and fashion
coal mining - learn about local history in a creative way, as well as the connections between Barnsley and Hull

Wednesday 22 and 29 July, 5, 12 and 19 August.
Sessions for ages 8 to 11 are 4pm to 6pm. Sessions for ages 12 to 17 are 6pm to 8pm.

Warhammer group

All new or experienced Warhammer players welcome. Come and take part in activities in building and creating your own army figures, with the opportunity to take part in a tournament at end of summer.
