New-build affordable housing
Current affordable housing schemes on site at January 2019 are:
King Street, Elsecar
A development of 30 affordable rented homes consisting of 2 and 3-bedroom houses.
The registered provider for these is Together Housing. Completion is due in March 2019.
Hill End Road, Mapplewell
A development of 25 homes; 14 affordable rent and 11 market rent. The scheme is made up of 2 and 3-bedroom houses.
The provider for these is Yorkshire Housing. Completion is due on 22 March 2019.
Catherines Walk, Athersley South
A development 54 properties made up of 2-bedroom bungalows, 2 and 3-bedroom houses and 2-bedroom apartments.
There will be 5 shared-ownership properties: three 2-bedroom houses and two 2-bedroom bungalows.
Bondfield Crescent, Wombwell
A development of 60 properties.
This is a mixed tenure development consisting of 16 affordable rent, 20 sale properties and 24 shared-ownership homes. There's a mixture of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom houses.
