Non-religious worldviews education
A worldview is the way a person understands and reacts to the world. It's shaped by their beliefs, values, experiences, and identity, and in turn influences how they make decisions, relate to others, and express themselves.
Alongside our religious education (RE) agreed syllabus you may want to explore non-religious worldviews with pupils in class.
Here are some of the views you may want to explore.
Humanism
Humanism is a non-religious worldview that focuses on human beings, their experiences, and their capacity to lead meaningful and ethical lives without relying on belief in a god or supernatural power. It emphasises the use of reason, evidence, and compassion to understand the world and make decisions.
