Building Control

As part of the building control process we'll inspect the project at key stages in the build to make sure it complies with buildings regulations.

It's your duty to inform us at the relevant stages during the works.

You'll be notified of the specific inspection stages that relate to your project and you'll need to book an inspection when the works reach each of these stages. We've produced a general guide to scheduled inspection stages that shows the likely inspection requirements for various types of projects. The number and type of inspections will vary depending on the complexity of the build.

If you don't keep us informed about the building progress and book inspections at the right stages you may need to open up the works for us to check them. This will cause you extra expense and delay.

  • your name
