Calling all market traders! Book your spot at our special Valentine’s Day market

Market traders and small businesses are invited to show their love for Barnsley’s markets by booking now for our special Valentine’s Day market.

Penistone Market Barn is at the heart of the community and will host the special event from 8.30am to 2pm on Saturday 14 February.

It’s a great opportunity for new and existing traders to reach a wider audience.

As well as a range of stalls, there will be live entertainment for shoppers to enjoy.

Cllr Robin Franklin, Cabinet Spokesperson for Regeneration and Culture, said: “We’re excited to bring this special Valentine’s Day market to Penistone.

“Our markets at the heart of our communities, playing a vital part in ensuring our high streets and town centres are thriving, and events like this aim to add to their appeal.

“Traders and businesses will have the chance to reach new customers, while we’d welcome all shoppers coming along to show their love for their local market.”
